McKitrick goes through some of the litterature, pointing out various uncertainties and misuses of statistics. All in all it’s a healthy dose of sceptisicm, but not of the close minded type that is not too uncommon.
The main conclusion, as far as I’m concerned, is that we still don’t know all that much. Given this, and given the rather large costs of the measures that are often suggested, it seems wise to wait and find out more before we throw all that money at it. Otherwise we risk both wasting the money, and causing new problems. It is, of course, important to learn more
