Esce un film su Margaret Thatcher, la più grande statista del dopo guerra (secondo me), protagonista indiscussa della svolta neoliberista (secondo tutti).
Una rivoluzione talmente contagiosa che parlare di destra e sinistra ormai non ha più molto senso:

I campioni del neoliberismo sono forse i paesi nordici, Danimarca in testa: ferrovie, aereoporti, torri di controllo, autostrade, posta, scuole… il privato è ovunque, anche in settori che gli USA si sognano. Basti un solo termine di paragone: mentre da noi una campagna da terzo modo demonizza le scuole libere, lì si incentivano scuole e ospedali a esplicito fine di lucro!
Ma, contro certi resoconti che disdegnano i fatti, l’ esito positivo delle politiche neoliberiste è palpabile anche in Sudamerica, repubbliche ex sovietiche, per non parlare del continente asiatico: più apertura dei mercati, più ricchezza. Ovunque
Una certa narrazione, poi, descrive il neoliberismo come il far west, una nuova barbarie dove regnano aggressività e sopraffazione: chi ha le unghie più lunghe e taglienti vince:
