Meditazioni sul contrattualismo. Con un tentativo di riabilitazione

Alcuni equilibri ottimali richiedono un atto di forza per realizzarsi.

Il problema dello Stato può essere visto ex-ante o ex-post. Può uno stato essere giudicato conveniente da persone che vivono nello stato di natura? Oppure, può uno stato essere considerato conveniente da persone che dallo Stato di natura sono già passate in modo violento allo Stato politico?

Chi vive nello stato di natura non ha mai sperimentato lo Stato politico. Chi vive nello stato politico non ha mai sperimentato lo stato di natura.

Il buon ascoltatore di musica non deve dar peso solo all'estetica ma anche all'economia. In altri termini, non deve restare passivo ma "investire" razionalmente sul suo orecchio in funzione del contesto.

Se domani un regime autoritario imponesse l’ascolto esclusivo di Mozart sarebbe razionale specializzarsi su questo autore. Se domani tutte le musiche del mondo fossero a portata di click sarebbe razionale puntare su un orecchio “flessibile”.

Lo scenario attuale: le musiche dell’intero pianeta, non solo sono tutte a portata di click, ma siccome lo sono già da tempo, hanno iniziato a mescolarsi tra loro.

Strategia razionale: costruirsi un orecchio in grado di apprezzare il meglio di ogni genere e le zuppe confezionate con quegli ingredienti.
