LA TASSA CHE PIACE AI LIBERTARI
I libertari odiano le tasse redistributive… ma odiano anche le regole. Per questo motivo le uniche tasse redistributive che tollerano sono quelle realizzate mediante l’abolizione di una regola.
La loro tassa preferita è quella che emerge dall’abolizione dei permessi a costruire.
Vivere con tanta gente accanto è una forma di tassazione, di conseguenza abolire i limiti all’edificabilità fa emergere una tassa vera e propria.
Si tratta, inoltre, di una tassa fortemente redistributiva poiché le zone oggi più spaziose e più ambite sono quelle più prestigiose. Pensate solo al trasferimento di ricchezza dai ricchi verso i poveri che realizzerebbe un “grattacielo popolare” ai Parioli?

UN PUNTO FORTE DEL KINDLE
Tollera meglio il fatto che tu non finisca il libro che stai leggendo.
I lettori, anche quelli seri, tendono a finire troppi libri (come a guardare troppi film fino ai titoli di coda). Il libro cartaceo, con la sua incombente presenza fisica, incoraggia il vizietto. Se ne sta lì sul comodino a perenne monito di un impegno che in realtà non hai mai preso con nessuno.

Riccardo Mariani Ad ogni modo la superiorità del libro elettronico su quello cartaceo mi sembra acclarata. Note, comodità, ricerca, evidenziazioni, portabilità, disponibilità… il Kindle sembra battere la carta in tutte le varie dimensioni di giudizio. Malignità: purtroppo, non consente di esibire fisicamente (esempio tramite una stipata libreria) la propria cultura, il che sembra un problema davvero insormontabile per molti (finti?) lettori.

Altro possibile difetto: leggendo su libro elettronico non capisci all’ istante a che punto sei del volume. Ma, anche qui: la cosa è un problema solo per chi legge con l’ossessione di “finire”.
